Invisible…

As the world around her rushed by,
When no one turned, and no one noticed,
When her screams went unheard,
And as her movement rustled no feather,
She finally saw, for she was invisible…

She knew not how things had changed,
She knew not how her voice went from loud to unheard,
She knew not when her life faded,
She knew now that it all did not matter,
She finally saw, for she was invisible…

What could she do now?How could she go back?
For nothing now seemed to make a difference,
After all the fuss she tried to make,
And when it all just went by,
She finally saw, for she was invisible…

She knew not if anything could make a difference,
But her heart refused to stop trying,
For despite it all, she knew she wanted to be herself,
Back to the person she had always been,
Right up until she had gone invisible…

For now, all that was left was her will,
Her will to try, her will to fight,
And she knew it would lead the way,
The way to a better place,
A place where she’d no longer be invisible…
